BYSIK is built on one simple principle: we have no business with the contents of your recordings or notes. Everything stays local. We have no access. Full stop.
All voice recordings, transcriptions, and notes you create are stored directly on your own device. No data is sent to our servers without your explicit permission.
The BYSIK team — including the founders and engineers — cannot see, read, or access the content you create. Technically and by policy, that is simply not our right.
We do not collect your voice recordings, transcript text, or note content for any purpose — including AI model training, analytics, or advertising.
AI processing happens locally or over a direct encrypted connection. We do not sell or share any data with third parties, ad networks, or analytics services.
You can delete all local data at any time directly from the app. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased from our systems.
There's no hidden retention period. When you delete a recording or your account, that data is truly gone — we don't keep a cloud backup without your knowledge.
Not just a policy — this is the technical and ethical standard we hold ourselves to.
We do not record your voice in the background.
We do not sell your data to anyone, in any form.
We do not use your content to train AI models.
We do not show ads based on your content.
We do not share data with third parties without your consent.
We do not retain recordings after transcription completes, unless you ask us to.
This privacy policy has been in effect since BYSIK became publicly available. If there are material changes, we will notify you directly through the app and our Discord server before the changes take effect. Questions? Reach us on Discord.
