About BYSIK AI

BYSIK AI provides a real-time meeting translation application designed for multilingual professionals across Southeast Asia — built to actually handle how Southeast Asians really talk, including Indonesian, English, and Singlish mid-sentence. The Service enables real-time transcription, multilingual translation overlays, AI-generated meeting summaries, and related features.

Eligibility & Account Registration

2.2 Account Obligations

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at support@bysik.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or following account suspension.
• One account per person. Organizations should use Workspace accounts for team access.

Permitted Use

3.1 License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, BYSIK AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business and professional purposes.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You may use BYSIK AI to:

• Transcribe and translate speech during professional meetings, presentations, and communications.
• Generate AI meeting notes and summaries for internal team use.
• Integrate with compatible video conferencing platforms, calendar tools, and productivity applications.
• Share transcripts and notes with colleagues within your organization or as permitted by your plan.

Prohibited Use

You must NOT use BYSIK AI to:

• Record or transcribe conversations without the knowledge and consent of all participants, where required by applicable law. Laws on recording consent vary across SE Asian jurisdictions — you are responsible for compliance.
• Conduct surveillance, monitor individuals without authorization, or collect information about people without consent.
• Transcribe content that infringes copyright, trade secrets, or confidentiality obligations — including attorney-client privileged communications where transcription would violate privilege.
• Generate or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or illegal.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of BYSIK AI.
• Use BYSIK AI to train competing AI models or products.
• Access BYSIK AI through automated means (bots, scrapers) except through our official API with prior written consent.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to BYSIK AI without written authorization.
• Use BYSIK AI in any high-risk application where transcription errors could cause harm, including medical diagnosis, legal proceedings without human review, or critical safety systems.

Meeting Recording & Participant Consent

5.1 Your Responsibility

BYSIK AI is a tool. The legal responsibility for obtaining consent from meeting participants before recording and transcribing lies entirely with you, the user. Laws governing recording consent differ across Southeast Asia:

5.2 BYSIK AI Disclosure Tools

BYSIK AI provides the following tools to assist with participant notification. Use of these tools does not guarantee legal compliance — that remains your responsibility:

• In-meeting notification banner: visible to participants in supported platforms.
• Verbal disclosure prompt: configurable auto-announcement at meeting start (Enterprise).
• Recording indicator: visual indicator in the BYSIK AI overlay that recording is active.

Intellectual Property

6.1 BYSIK AI IP

BYSIK AI, its technology, brand, AI models, software, and all related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of BYSIK AI. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. The license granted in Section 3 is the full extent of your permitted use.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit through BYSIK AI, including meeting audio (where stored), transcripts, and notes ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant BYSIK AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

We do not claim any ownership over your meeting content, transcripts, or notes. We do not use your identifiable content to train AI models without your separate, explicit opt-in consent.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about BYSIK AI, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve our products and services without any obligation to compensate you.

Subscription, Pricing & Payment

7.1 Plans

BYSIK AI offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Current pricing is available at www.bysik.app/pricing. Plan features and limits are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

7.2 Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. BYSIK AI does not store full payment card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection laws or as described in Section 7.3.

7.3 Refunds

All payments made are final and cannot be refunded.

7.4 Free Plan Limitations

The Free plan is subject to usage limits including transcription minutes, storage, and feature access. BYSIK AI reserves the right to modify Free plan limits. Users on the Free plan acknowledge that the Service is provided without a service level agreement.

Service Availability & SLA

• BYSIK AI targets 99.5% monthly uptime for Pro and Enterprise plans.
• Planned maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance via status.bysik.app.
• Enterprise customers receive a dedicated SLA with financial remedies for downtime exceeding agreed thresholds — refer to your Enterprise Agreement.
• BYSIK AI is not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages, third-party platform failures, or force majeure events.

AI Output Disclaimer

BYSIK AI makes no warranty that transcriptions will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Accuracy varies by audio quality, accent, background noise, and language complexity. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before acting on it.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BYSIK AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law, including recording consent laws; or (d) any claims by meeting participants arising from your use of BYSIK AI.

Termination

12.1 By You

You may cancel your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account or by contacting support@bysik.app. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

12.2 By BYSIK AI

BYSIK AI may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice if you: (a) violate these Terms; (b) use the Service in a way that creates legal risk for BYSIK AI or other users; (c) fail to pay fees when due; or (d) engage in conduct that is abusive toward BYSIK AI staff or other users.

We will provide at least 30 days' notice before termination for non-violation reasons, except where immediate termination is necessary to protect the integrity of the Service or other users.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Singapore is chosen as the governing jurisdiction given its established commercial law framework and status as a regional technology hub.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Rules, conducted in English in Singapore.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief from any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Security Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BYSIK AI with respect to the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: BYSIK AI may assign these Terms in connection with a merger or acquisition. You may not assign your rights without written consent.
• Force Majeure: BYSIK AI is not liable for failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, internet outages, or government action.
• Notices: Legal notices to BYSIK AI must be sent to legal@bysik.app. We will send notices to the email address on your account.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. If you continue using BYSIK AI after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
